About the Opportunity

JOB SUMMARY:

Northeastern University's Experiential Digital Global Education Division (EDGE) is seeking a part-time Copywriter to work collaboratively with the Learning Design team on high quality digital learning products. The EDGE Division drives Northeastern's growth goals and digital strategy broadly by providing digital learning design and development services to Northeastern's schools and colleges and working with colleges & corporate partners connecting learning to employees and professionals.

This is a remote position with a maximum of 20 hours per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Writing clear, compelling copy and content for a variety of mediums and purposes.
Ensuring that copy and content is free from typographical and grammatical errors.
Editing content as required.
Proofreading for consistency as well as removal of errors.
Staying up to date on best practices and trends of copywriting for various channels/mediums.
Actively contributing to the wider team objectives - bringing ideas, insights and suggestions for improvement.
Ensuring feedback is reviewed, evaluated, and acted upon - working to find the best ways to address concerns and provide improvements and new solutions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field
Minimum 4 years of copywriting experience
Experience in educational publishing or online education
Strong organizational and time management skills, demonstrating and ability to work flexibly across multiple projects with strict and conflicting deadlines, while maintaining high quality standard of work
Ability to maintain focus on priorities while multi-tasking and thrive in an agile environment
Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, including effective stakeholder and partnership working - maintaining positive relationships and building consensus
